Found an interesting series of flight plans.

So, could be nothing, but also could be something really interesting. [Looks like there was a private jet (NetJets charter) that left OMA yesterday en route to Tuscaloosa (TCL)](https://flightaware.com/live/flight/EJA407). Ok, not much on its own. If it’s even football related, maybe it’s recruiting. Or perhaps it’s not football related at all.

However, I looked back at the flight plan today, and it gets a lot more interesting…

The plane spent a few hours there in Tuscaloosa, and then went to the following places, in this order:

* **Blytheville, AR (BYH)** – Not much notable here in terms of football, but the plane only spent a half hour on the ground, so likely just a stopover of some kind.
* **Knoxville, TN (TYS)** – Tennessee. Obviously Josh Heupel and a common UCF connection with Scott Frost, but it doesn’t seem like Heupel would leave the HC position at Tennessee for an OC position at Nebraska. Perhaps one of Heupel’s offensive assistants who came with Heupel from UCF? Few names jump off the coaching roster:
* Willie Martinez (WRs) – UCF
* Joey Halzle (QBs) – UCF
* Alex Golesh (OC) UCF but also has experience in B10
* Glen Elarbee (OL) – UCF
* Mike Ekeler (OLB/ST) – from Nebraska, coached at Skutt as well
* **Boca Raton, FL (BCT)** – Florida Atlantic. Willie Taggart is there, but he probably wouldn’t leave the HC position for an OC position, though it could be perceived as a step up from FAU even as a HC there. Notable assistants include Raymond Woodie and Michael Johnson, each of which has experience at Oregon, but also:
* Ed Warner (OL) – significant experience in the B10 at Michigan, OSU, Minnesota
* **Miami, FL (MIA)** – Miami, obviously. Manny Diaz probably not an actual possibility, but Rhett Lashlee (OC/QBs), Jonathan Patke (ILB/ST), Stephen Field (TEs), Eric Hickson (RBs), Garin Justice (OL), Rob Likens (WRs), and Ishmael Aristide (OLBs) all seem like decent options.

Later today, the plane is scheduled to go from MIA to the following places:

* **Lexington, KY (LEX)** – Kentucky. Stoops’ assistants have been solid, but Vince Marrow (former TEs coach under Bo) stands out in particular. Other notable names are John Settle (longtime Wisconsin RBs coach), Jovon Bouknight (QC but also former WRs coach at Oregon)
* **Chicago, IL (MDW)** – Northwestern. Obviously lots of B10 familiarity. Mike Bajakian (OC/QBs), Kurt Anderson (OL), Lou Ayeni (RBs), Jeff Genyk (ST), Dennis Springer (WRs).

Tomorrow, it heads from MDW to **Teterboro, NJ (TEB).** Rutgers is a possibility, but EWR would be a lot closer (also possible that it’s easier to fly into TEB as a small private jet). However, East Rutherford is just a hop from TEB, which might suggest the New York Giants staff is the target. Hope to god we aren’t looking at Jason Garrett (and I’m not sure he’d take the job), but more junior offensive assistants that may be targets include Rob Sale (OL), Derek Dooley (TEs), and Burton Burns (RBs).

Again, this could be nothing, but it seems like something.
