Distraction: a day in the life of a head coach.

I thought I would post this video to distract from the recent news, and get us talking about something else. My thoughts:

– I often think about how I would have run the program differently we’re I in charge, but watching this video reminds me that I do not have the dedication or attention span for being a head coach at that level. They seem like a slave to the system/role; the daily schedule is brutal.

– As talented as Frost might be as a coach, would he even have time to do it? I think many good coaches are promoted one level past their talent area; highlighting the importance of the “real” coaches who do all the work directly with the players.

– I like Frost as our coach and I think he’ll figure it out, but man Chris P. Would have been a great fit for Nebraska. He’s like-able, is talented as a program manager, and had a killer game-plan/mentality in games.

What do you guys think?
