Could Nebraska see a renaissance similar to Tennessee in the near future?

Tennessee has seen great success in recruiting as of late. Nico Iamaleava in 2023, 2024 5* edge Jordan Ross, and for 2026 just landed the number 1 overall qb.

They’re in the perceived final 2 for 5* OL David sanders along Nebraska.

Nebraska has been booty for the last decade. You know it, I know it, we all know it. And yet we’re in the final 2 for David sanders, we got 5* Dylan raiola, and potentially the final two for 5* Michael terry.

I know Tennessee has a major geographic advantage but they’ve also been much better than Nebraska in the last couple years. I view them as sort of a parallel to what Nebraska could be. They’re just a couple years ahead in the rebuild. I’d love to see how much 1890 takes off with a few wins this season.

Do we think Nebraska has the chance to be in competition for 5*s going forward? We got a major break landing DR, and his influence on recruiting is pretty obvious. Are we able to capture this momentum we have going and use it to have some long term success?
