Ranch puppy is settling in pretty well. She has been dubbed Freya, who is the Norse goddess of love, fertility, battle and death. I hope pupper’s life isn’t that dramatic around here, but we are hoping for some help with moving cows and watching gates. We are definitely going to nip the “fertility” part in the bud as she will be spayed as soon as the vet says we can bring her in.
Our housecat has made it difficult to sweep because he likes to play in the dust pile. This weekend, I discovered that puppies are a bigger sweeping nuisance than housecats. Puppy doesn’t care about the dust pile – she’s after the broom.
