Corn Flakes: Two Professional Volleyball Leagues in Omaha

Last winter it was fun to watch the Omaha Supernovas make their debut and I was happy to see that they had a good following. The addition of several former Huskers has got to help with that as well.

Next winter, however, the Supernovas won’t be the only pro volleyball team in Omaha and I’m curious to see how it goes. LOVB has an Omaha team and they have some exciting former Husker players on their team as well. Jordan Larson, Justine Wong-Orantes, Lauren Stivrins (and her sister Amber), and Madi Kubik have all signed with the Omaha team.

I’m curious to see if Nebraska can sustain both of these teams and I’m also excited to watch these ladies play again.

For now I’ll have to settle for watching a few of them in the Olympics.
