Corn Flakes: Despite Nebraska’s Woes, 2007 Was The Funnest Season of College Football Ever

It was. We have some great stories about it. Check them out.

Just in case you didn’t see it, the mothership has done an enormous job putting together great stories from 2007 college football season. I know that the 2007 season was terrible for Nebraska fans as I am one of you. You can go back through the history of this website and see the collective pain that we felt in our game threads and in our articles. Just remember that it’s gone it can’t hurt us any more.

That doesn’t take away, or at least it shouldn’t, from the crazy fun that the 2007 season was. Remember that the season started with the greatest upset in college football history when Appalachian State knocked off #5 Michigan? There were plenty of other teams who saw their dreams go up in smoke that year and if there is one thing I enjoy in sports, it’s chaos. Remember all the times the team ranked #2 lost? Tim Tebow? Mike Gundy?

That’s what the 2007 season was. Chaos. Fun… if you could ignore what was going on in Nebraska.
