Nebraska moves into the semi-finals vs. their rival McKendree. Starts at 4 PM.

For those curious about Nebraska Bowling. Since 2004, the Huskers have won 5 National Championships (2004, 2005, 2009, 2013, 2015) and finished runner-up 4 times (2010, 2014, 2016, 2017). Meaning 9 of the last 16 years (2020 was cancelled) they have either won or finished runner-up. 6 times they have either tied for or outright finished 3rd (2006, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2018, 2019). Their worst finish is Tied for 7th (2008) They, also, had a very good track record prior to bowling becoming an NCAA sport.

Sorry, ever since 2010 when I found out we were good at bowling, I have been very amused and intrigued by this team and its constant high performance. Go Big Red.

UPDATE: As of this moment we are in a Best-of-7 Baker Format. The Huskers as of 6:59 CST are up 3-2. 6 game just started, Huskers could be sending themselves to Saturday’s championship, and one match away from another National Title!
