Big Red Cobcast Ep. 351: Relegation for the Huskers?


I know we’re supposed to talk about American football on this ol’ Big Red Cobcast, and I promise we do. I also know that the “other” football (aka soccer) is not what most of our listeners want to hear about.

But there’s one problem with that: Joe just won’t shut up about soccer.

Here’s the thing though. I don’t really think that’s a problem this week. We compared American sports structure to the soccer sports structure, and we’re fairly confident that while Nebraska would’ve been relegated from the Big Ten at some point using a European soccer model, the Huskers also would’ve been promoted from the Sun Belt or the WAC or whichever crappy conference we would’ve fallen into under a relegation model.
