Big 10 Releases Husker’s Schedule for 2019-20 Basketball Season

The Big 10 has released the 20 game conference schedule for the 2019-20 season, the second consecutive year the Big 10 has scheduled that amount of conference games. The Huskers will host Michigan State, Penn State, and Purdue at home. That’s a lucky break for first year head coach Fred Hoiberg, as he’ll only need to play the best two teams in the conference once and at Pinnacle Bank Arena no less.

The Spartans and Boilermakers are coming off of deep runs in the NCAA Tournament, having made the Final Four and Elite Eight, respectively.  Additionally, 12 of the games Nebraska will play in the Big 10 will be against teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament this past season.

Also, Nebraska will only play one road game against Illinois, Marlyland, and Minnesota. They’ll have a home and away game though against Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio State, Rutgers, and Wisconsin.
