Best time and place to buy tickets?

Hello, I live in Lincoln and intend to go to the CU game (literally wont miss this game). I went to every game last year, but obviously the tickets to this game are on the expensive side. I have not purchased a ticket yet as I am waiting for the right moment. Last year I used seatgeek mostly to get my ticket on the same day or the day before. From my experience you can get the best price online the day of or a few days before (got a single ticket to NW game for like $15 lol). I am seeing that tickets right now are +$200. I plan on getting two tickets for this game as well as my brother is coming down. From your perspective, where are the best prices, and also when are they the best. Im in the younger generation and have never scalped tickets on the street like you might have done more back in the day. Should I buy them online like I have, or would buying them in person on the corners be the best bang for your buck on gameday. I am willing to shell out the $200 for a ticket if I have to, but would love to get a nice discount for waiting until tickets are harder to sell. Please share your experiences and mistakes you'd try to avoid.

TLDR; what is the strat for cheapest ticket price
