Baseball: Nebraska Bats Silent In 3-1 Loss At Creighton

Too little too late for the Husker offense

Omaha, NE- The Nebraska Baseball team (13-12, 1-2 Big Ten) mustered only seven hits in a 3-1 loss against the Creighton Bluejays on Tuesday night. Nebraska continues to struggle on offense.

Nebraska looked in good shape going against Creighton starting pitcher Preston Church. Church came into the game with a 12.19 ERA while allowing 16 runs in just 10 innings pitched. Zac Repinski and Mojo Hagge both lead off to start the first inning. Three straight outs ended the Huskers best threat of the night.

Creighton cashed in on their first inning chance. Isaac Collins walked with one out. A wild pitch and sacrifice fly moved him to third with two outs. Will Robertson doubled down the right field line to score Collins and give the Jays the lead.
