The senior middle blocker from Brighton, Colo., has four honors this season, per Nebraska Athletics: Big Ten Player of the Week twice (Sept. 28, Oct. 5), AVCA Player of the Week (Sept. 29) and Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 26). She was third nationally in hitting percentage at .479 as of that Oct. 26 release.

Her Oct. 5 award made her the third Husker to win Big Ten Player of the Week in back-to-back weeks, joining Madi Kubik (2021) and Kelsey Robinson (2013), according to huskers.com.

Three straight defensive winners

Ogbechie (Oct. 12), Mauch (Oct. 19) and Jackson (Oct. 26) made it three straight weeks with a Husker as Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week. In the week Mauch won, Nebraska held Northwestern and Purdue to a combined .091 hitting, and she had a career-high 21 digs against the Boilermakers.
