2023 Husker athletics announcement predictions

Here is what I predict will be announced in 2023

New Herbie: Okay, I’ll start with an easy one that’s not exactly a prediction, rather it’s just news from Trev he announced several months ago. New herbie coming 2023.

Brand Redesign: another that’s not so much of a prediction, Trev stated he wanted to streamline Nebraskas brand. This could include new logos, type face, and a more consistent uniform design across all teams. Fingers crossed it’s a good redesign. The last brand streamline we did brought us brunette herbie, and the awful secondary logos that were synonymous with Walmart apparel. Here’s to hoping the next one is better.

New Football Uniforms: Prediction time. Nebraska will get new football uniforms for 2023. I don’t think this will be anything drastic. They will still include the San serif N on the helmet and be easily recognizable as Husker uniforms but they may include some new subtle elements that align with the brand redesign.

South Stadium Expansion/reconstruction: by far the biggest announcement I predict will happen in 2023. I don’t believe it will be finalized until 2024 however. I think we may see the beginning stages though by the end of 2023. No doubt they will want to wrap up the new facility currently under construction before starting on south stadium.

I have zero inside sources, all just some fun speculation that I think all has some traction. Should be some interesting things happen to lessen the drag of the off-season.
