The Big Ten announced its Wrestlers to Watch on Wednesday morning, and two Huskers made the list: Antrell Taylor at 157 pounds and Christopher Minto at 174. Both return after finishing as NCAA silver medalists in 2025-26.
Antrell Taylor, 157
Taylor, the 2025 NCAA champion, went 26-4 last season, 16-2 in duals, with three pins, seven technical falls and three major decisions. He won the Navy Classic, entered both the Big Ten and NCAA Championships as a top-two seed, and placed second at both.
Christopher Minto, 174
Minto went 24-6 as a sophomore, 15-4 in duals, with three technical falls and nine major decisions. He also won the Navy Classic and reached the finals at both the Big Ten and NCAA Championships, where he dropped a pair of 2-1 decisions to Penn State’s Levi Haines. Two one-point losses from a title, twice. That is the motivation for this season.
