Who’s the problem?

TLDR: mirror mirror on the wall, are we the greatest fans in college football?

To be honest there is a lot there. We haven’t had a good AD since before Peterson. Moos is good, don’t get me wrong. Coaching has been hit or miss since then. But the most appalling thing I have seen is the fans. Yes you! Look back to Minnesota 2018. Ranked Minnesota comes in and I haven’t seen a Husker crowd stand, let alone stay for 4 quarters since I was 7 and saw a beat down of Kansas in 1996. I have seen the mustache miracle with less than half a stadium and thought “you’re going to miss a classic”. I have seen us come back from 25 points against Ohio State with less fans. But still coming back as an alumni, against Minnesota, having picked up your garbage for 5 years (can expound later), that right there was Husker football. 4 quarters of in your face fans and football. I’ve said it.

We as the fans have let our team down. We don’t stand behind anything because we’ve been gifted by the 90s. We think we are better than we are. We think we can march anywhere and take on any team. Not with our ATTITUDE. I’m sick and tired of our whining of our coach isn’t great, our players didn’t perform. Fuck, when was the last time Nebraska fans performed as the sign says, “Through these gates walk the greatest fans in college football”! This is the reason we’ve failed. This is the reason Nebraska is not a contender, and this is the reason we will never see Nebraska football as we used to.

Edited: if you disagree, go ahead and dm me. Be happy to argue
