Nebraska Women’s Gymnastics Coach Dan Kendig Retires

Longtime Nebraska women’s gymnastics coach Dan Kendig has retired, effective immediately according to a Nebraska Athletic Department press release.

Kendig spent 25 years with the program, guiding them to 14 conference title wins and 12 Super Six Finals appearances. “My greatest memories will be the opportunity to work with so many talented and high-achieving young women who have excelled in the gym, in the classroom and in the community,” Kendig said.

Heather Brink will serve as Interim Head Coach for the upcoming season. Nebraska will have a pair of intrasquad meets in November and December before the regular season starts in January.
