Nebraska Basketball: Huskers 71 Eagles 62 in the Big 10/ACC Challenge

Huskers put together a nice win against ACC foe

Unlike most Big Ten teams the Huskers did what they had to do in the annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Boston College came in to Lincoln and tried to take home a win but the Husker shooting early on doomed their chances of doing so. Even with a couple of dry spells shooting the big red was able to build enough of a lead and took down the Eagles 71 to 62.

The Huskers took the lead early in the game and even with Boston College getting to within 1 point of them they never lost the lead the entire game. The Huskers shot over 50% from the floor for most of the game and ended the night with 49% shooting. This was a big boost from the past few games and higher than their season average of 43.7%.
