List one offensive and one defensive player that you are excited about, and why.

Instead of talking about coaches or being negative on players, what players are you excited for their development right now? For me it’s:

Defense: **Damion Daniels** – He played 44 snaps against Iowa (his previous career high was 23) and was disruptive along the line. He played inspired football, and it showed. He has the size and strength but lacked the conditioning to play long stretches, but that is changing now.

Offense: **Zavier Betts** – As a true freshman he has caught every catchable ball (zero drops) and looked awesome on his jet sweep runs. Our offense desperately needs to get him more touches.

We also should mention that **Connor Culp** has been great, especially considering that he’s a walk-on.
