Huskers at the U20 World Championship

Three Husker freshmen – Ally Batenhorst, Lindsay Krause and Lexi Rodriguez – are among the 12 members of Team USA competing at the FIVB U20 World Championship in Europe this month.

Round-robin pool play will unfold over the first three days of competition from July 9 through July 11. The United States’ pool includes Turkey, Russia and Thailand.

The pool winners and the pool runners-up will continue in two new pools to be played in the Netherlands while the remaining eight teams form two pools in Belgium. The matches in the four second-round groups will take place July 13-15. The pool standings will determine in which semifinals the teams will compete.

The grand final will take place July 18. On the same day, the bronze medal match and all the other classification matches will be played to determine the final standings.

This page will be updated with results, a brief recap and live streaming links each day Team USA plays.
