Tyjon Lindsey Lands at Oregon State

Tyjon Lindsey becomes the third Husker this season to transfer to Oregon State, 247sports.com reports.

The four star recruit from California left the team earlier in the week, and has already found a landings spot, alongside fellow former Huskers Tristan Gebbia and linebacker Avery Roberts.

Lindsey only had three catches for 22 yards this season. In 2017 under head coach Mike Riley, Lindsey was responsible for 12 receptions for 76 yards.

Lindsey wasn’t involved much in the offense for Nebraska this year, and was eventually replaced by J.D. Spielman as the punt returner after a poor performance against Michigan.

Lindsey was the first of two departures from the Nebraska football team this week. Also departing the team is junior college transfer and running back, Greg Bell. Bell’s final destination is still yet to be determined.
