Takeaways from Illinois basketball’s win at Nebraska

The Illinois basketball team is on a roll right when the season matters the most. Coming off of a horrid month of January, the Illini have played much better in February.

Illinois is 4-2 in February after Sunday night’s win in Lincoln, Nebraska against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The Illini (17-12, 7-9) defeated the Cornhuskers (12-16, 6-10) 73-57 to win their third straight game overall and third straight road game. This team is finally putting all of the pieces together and are making things interesting with just two games remaining on the schedule before the Big Ten tournament.

With that, here are my major takeaways from Sunday’s win at Nebraska.
