Omaha Division of FBI Human Trafficking Operation Recovers 2 Children

An FBI human trafficking operation leads to the recovery of two children and the arrest of two traffickers in the Nebraska. In a statement, the FBI announced the results of Operation Cross-Country XI, an investigation that tracked human traffickers and their victims across the nation. Working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, authorities staged operations in hotels, casinos, truck stops, as well as on street corners and the Internet.

Operation Cross Country XI is part of the FBI’s Innocence Lost National Initiative and has so far yielded 6,500 child identifications and locations since it started in 2003.
