Nebraska Women’s Basketball Earns a 10 Seed In the NCAA Tournament

The the Husker women are back in the Dance after a two-year absence

The Nebraska women’s basketball team got some good news tonight as they were selected for an at-large bid for the NCAA tournament. The Huskers earned a #10 seed in the Kansas City region. They will play their first (and hopefully second) round games in Austin, Texas.

Nebraska will play seventh-seeded Arizona State at 2:30 p.m. (CT) Saturday on ESPN2 with the winner of that game advancing to play the winner between No. 2 seed (and subregional host) Texas and 15th-seeded Maine on March 19.

Nebraska will be making its 14th NCAA Tournament appearance and its first since 2015, having compiled an 8-13 (.381) record in the event.
