Nebraska spring game moved to April 21

Nebraska athletics announced Wednesday afternoon that the 2018 Spring Game at Memorial Stadium will be played on Saturday, Apr. 21 at 11 a.m. The game was originally scheduled for Apr. 14.

Reserved tickets for season-ticket holders go on sale on Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. Tickets for the general public go on sale on Feb. 7 also at 10 a.m.

More ticket sales details will be made available closer to the day they are made available.

All sections of Memorial Stadium will be made available for the annual Red-White game. Last year, the spring game was attended by 78,312 fans. The largest crowd ever for a Nebraska spring game was 2008 when 80,149 fans came out to see the Huskers’ scrimmage in Bo Pelini’s inagural season.

The spring game broadcast will be carried live on KLIN and on 98.1 FM in Lincoln.
