HONOLULU, Hawaii – The Nebraska beach volleyball team fell 4-1 to No. 13 Grand Canyon in its only match of the day on Monday at Hawaii’s Ching Complex.

Annika Albrecht and Kenzie Maloney picked up the only point for the Huskers with a comeback win over Bella Bauman and Jessica Stansfield. Albrecht and Maloney dropped their first set, 15-21, but rebounded to win set two, 22-20. The Husker duo pulled out a 15-11 win in the third set for their second win during the trip.

The Huskers will wrap up their stay in Hawaii on Tuesday against No. 3 Hawaii at 9 p.m. (CT). The Nos. 1 and 2 pairs of that match will be streamed live here.
